As we traverse Hampi’s breathtaking landscape, we’ll share captivating stories from these ancient texts, participate in special rituals, meditate in secluded caves, and uncover hidden gems that echo with spiritual energy.   • Visit the Moola Virupaksha Temple on the Hemakuta Hill & hear the narration of Manmata Vijaya episode from Pampa Mahatmya
  • Participate in a special Pooja at the Virupaksha temple, visit Bhoodevi & Pampa Shrines
  • Visit the shrine to Vidyaranya Swami and learn about his pivotal role in founding of Vijayanagara Samrajya
  • Walk to the riverside shrines of Yantrodhaka Hanuman, Kodanda Rama & Koti Linga and learn about their connection to the Ramayana
  • Visit other important sites related to Ramayana including Pampa Sarovara, Chintamani, Madhuvana, Malyavantha Hill. 
  • Climb up the Anjanadri hill to witness the most stunning views of Kishkindha, this is the birth place of Hanuman. 

08:30 AM – Pickup from your Hotel/Resort. 

The car will arrive at your hotel/resort by 08:00 AM, please plan to leave on time. Your guide will meet you at the start point of the tour and will coordinate with your driver. 

 

09:00 AM to 12:00 PM – Hemakuta Hill, Virupaksha Temple & Tungabhadra riverside. 

 

12:30 PM to 01:15 PM – Malyavanta Raghunatha temple, Madhuvana 

 

02:00 PM to 02:30 PM – Home Cooked Meal with Local Host Family 

we will be arranging a home cooked meal for you with a local host family.  The food will be a vegetarian feast served traditionally on a banana leaf with all local specialities of the region. The menu items vary based on the seasonal availability as all the ingredients are organic and sourced fresh locally.  It will be your best meal on this trip that is our guarantee. 

 

02:30 PM to 4:30 PM – Chintamani Ghats, Ram Gufa, Vali Gufa, Durga Temple, Pampa Sarovar

 

05:00 PM – 06:30 PM – Hike up Anjanadri Hill – Birth place of Hanuman

Your guide will not be participating on this hike. This final activity is completely optional, if you are fit and can climb 600 steps then we recommend you do it. It is a special place with panoramic views of entire Kishkindha. 

 

07:30 PM – Drop back to your Hotel/Resort

  • Local Transportation – A Chauffeur driven air conditioned car or vehicle depending on the option chosen by you. If you have your own vehicle then please opt out of transportation when you fill the form up. For those of you who want us to arrange transportation you can choose one of the following during your booking process and we will include it in your quote.

  • Home Cooked Lunch with a local family – Includes an elaborate home cooked vegetarian meal on banana leaf and drinking water.

  • Any meals, food or snack not included by default in the tour. 
  • Any change in plan like addition of places to see or diversions might incur extra charges that will be passed on to you. 

THINGS TO REMEMBER

  • Wear comfortable cotton clothes. Wear clothing that would cover your chest and shoulders. Wear bottoms that would cover up to your knees.
  • A cap or an umbrella to keep the sun out.
  • Sunglasses
